Two songs I recorded in the Fish Factory Creative Center in Stöðvarfjörður, East Iceland, in October 2021, recorded solely with a Zoom H4N field recorder.

"Basalt" was I written in 2013, in Iceland. On this remake, I tried to use all the instruments and facilities I could find in the Creative Center, including a lovely/shabby acoustic guitar with five bronze and one nylon string, a bass guitar, a drumset, percussion, piano, an old harmonium, an organ beat machine, and vocals.
The song is a contemplation about the positioning of myself within my social and natural environment. Just as my physical body seems to be shrinking when climbing up a mountain, expectations can inflate to ridiculous dimensions when floating over flat lands for too long.
"kveðja" is based on an older guitar loop, with a bass guitar and piano added to it.
